Brief Description:

The bequest of Irene Daphne Butler to the discipline of Russian in the School of Cultures, Languages and Linguistics in memory of her grandson, Peter John Butler, included provision for financial assistance to be made to students to further their study of Russian. Such assistance may take the form of contributions towards students’ costs in travelling abroad for Russian language study.
