Brief Description:

The Award was established in 2005 by the New Zealand Medical Women’s Association and replaces the NZMWA Auckland Branch award which has been funded annually since the 1970s. The main purpose of the Award is to assist a final year woman medical student to undertake an elective that focuses on the health of women and children.
