The Scholarship was established in 2005 and is funded by the residual funds of the University of Auckland Primary Health Care Trust. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students undertaking postgraduate study in general practice and primary health care, in particular for those who are undertaking research of benefit to the South Auckland area.
