Brief Description:

This Application Form covers three different Awards. If you apply, you will be considered for all three Awards. 

1. Margaret Tudor South New Start Award

The Award was established in 2018 and is funded by a bequest from Margaret Tudor South.
The main purpose of the Award is to assist women students enrolled in the New Start Programme at Waipapa Taumata
Rau, University of Auckland.


2. University Preparation Award - New Start

The Award is funded by New Start, Tertiary Foundation and administered by the University of Auckland Scholarships
Office. The Award was supplemented in 2018 with funding from the Alumni Award and the Farrand and Firth Needy
Student Fund. The main purpose of the Award is to assist potential students who wish to pursue a New Start Programme at the
University of Auckland and who have demonstrated financial need.

3. James LeGallais New Start Award
The Award was established in 2019 by Sean Joyce and Danielle LeGallais, and is named after their son, James LeGallais. The main purpose of the Award is to assist male students enrolled in the New Start Programme at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
