The Award was established in 2014 (formerly known as the Academic Career Exploration Award) and is funded by the School of Graduate Studies.

To apply for a scholarship, you need to be enrolled full-time at the University of Auckland and have paid the fees or arranged to pay the fees for a doctoral degree. Applicants must be within 18 months of full-time enrolment from the commencement of their doctoral canditure at the time of application and must have had their candidature confirmed before Semester One Orientation in the year of the award.

We strongly recommend that you read the regulations for this award before you apply. In addition please be aware that you will be asked for the name and contact details of a referee to support your application and you will need to have obtained their agreement before you nominate them.
