Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Financial Need Scholarships - 485/715/757 - 2017

Brief Description:

The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Alumni Scholarship was established in 2005 and is financed by Alumni of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to contribute towards study expenses of a student studying for an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences who can demonstrate financial need.

The Gwynn Duncan Memorial Scholarship was established in 2012 and is funded by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support MBChB students who are experiencing financial need.

The Laurel Jones Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 in memory of Laurel Jones and is funded by the Laurel Dietrick Parks Foundation. Laurel was a former medical student who passed away before completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to provide support to an MBChB student, in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
