Professor John Asher Graduate Scholarship in German - 580 - 2018

Brief Description:

The Professor John Asher Graduate Scholarship in German was established in 2009 to encourage research in German. The Scholarship has been made possible through the generosity of Mrs Monica Asher and the family of Professor John Asher. Professor John Asher was a graduate and a member of the staff of The University of Auckland. As founding Professor of German and Head of Department from 1958 to 1986 he developed the longstanding relationships the University holds with German academic institutions, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the German community in New Zealand.

It is strongly recommended that you read the regulations before you begin your application. A friendly reminder to save your application periodically as the application window will time out after 60 minutes.
