The main purpose of the Scholarships is to attract international students of high calibre to pursue a research doctoral degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

The Scholarships are tenable only by students who are neither citizens nor permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia, and comply with the requirements of the domestic fees policy for PhD students

To apply for a scholarship, you must either have recently applied for admission to the University of Auckland or be a current student. To apply for admission click here.

If you have a current, submitted Application for Admission and still experience difficulties gaining access to the scholarships application form please email us as soon as possible at scholarships@auckland.ac.nz.

Please note that this scholarship will close on the 1st of July at 0000.
